MightyMansion Move XXL

Wir haben den MightyMansion Move XXL mit TowerSwing gekauft. Es ist ein gut verarbeiteter Spielturm. Die Anleitung für den Aufbau ist manchmal nicht ganz eindeutig und nicht vollständig erklärt. Auch bei dem Preis ist es wünschenswert wenn die Schraubenlöcher bereits vorgebohrt wären. Man muss sehr viel messen und Bohren was den Aufbau sehr verzögert. Es wurden auch drei Hölzer defekt geliefert und ein Teil war nicht dabei. Das wurde durch den Kundenservice sehr schnell bearbeitet und nachgeliefert.

Sehr schöner Spielturm mit allen Extras für viel Abwechslung. Gut verarbeitet und alles im Lieferumfang dabei.
Wir haben die Variante mit SurfSwing gekauft.
Nur die Aufbauanleitung finden wir verbesserungsfähig, für das Swingboard war leider gar keine Anleitung dabei. Das Video war aber wenigstens hilfreicher.

Top tip. Hire a nail gun and forget the 300+ 59mm screws that come with it.
Working as an experienced handy man I have just built this item. It took and a useful male labourer 11 hours to build the main unit without the side platform and swing. An hour of that was used going to a local builder's merchant to buy a replacement eight foot 4x4 for the main swing crossbeam as the one supplied was snapped across a large knot and had numerous cracks and shakes making it unfit for purpose. The following day we spent an additional 6 hours completing the project apart from the fabric frills and doors which you have to cut out yourself from large sheets having first drawn the various patterns from diagrams in the manual. Why the manufacturer can't cut these or at least print the shapes for us to cut baffles me. There are approximately 400 screws and bolts in this build so don't even think of doing it without a good powered screwdriver. I used an impact driver and cordless drill and had to charge them at lunchtime. Many of the panels have two 50mm screws at each end when they really only need one or two shorter ones. They all take time to drive. If you were doing this without a powered screwdriver it would take weeks and that's not an exaggeration. Once it's all built it seems solid and strong enough for kids. Would be best on a solid, prepared, flat and level surface. If I was doing it again I would hire a nail gun and forget all the 50 mm screws. You could cut the build time by many hours.
Customer seems happy so far but time will tell if it holds up or if the wood splits when dried in the sun with all those screw holes. Instructions leave a lot to be desired. I used (you will need) tall and short step Ladders, impact driver with PZ2, PZ1 and PZ3 bits, cordless drill, two quick squares of different sizes, spirit levels, a wooden mallet, various drill bits, a hand saw, tape measure, socket set (mostly a 17mm socket, marker pens, loads of patience; lots of time; large, sharp scissors, 2 people (3!would be better to get the initial uprights upright and bolted, quick clamps, There's probably more. The instructions recommend placing the screws certain distances from the edge and end of each slat and panel. These are mostly all the same. Do yourself a favour and spend time making a simple jig from a thin piece of wood that's as long as the width of one floorboard and 25mm wide that you can lie adjacent to the end of the board so that the other side is the right distance in from the end and put a mark 25mm from each end and this will quickly and accurately show you were to screw. You will get a nice finish with all your screws evenly spaced and in neat lines. A jigblike this should be included in the kit. I suspect most dad's won't have all the tools needed or the patience and will burn an entire weekend getting this mostly built. Hire someone.
